Larry Harris, creator of Axis & Allies, and Thomas Gale have teamed up to release a new wargame called War Room. The game has been in development for over 4 years and the Kickstarter, to fund the game, is scheduled for October 30, 2017.
I noticed that through all the media, the hype, the advertising, and the online discussions, that no one is mentioning “Dumb and Dumberer”, like it’s some forgotten plague.
Anyone have any comments on that?

I have played A&A spring of 1942 ince 1992. Just a simple game with a time period I like. Now I have expanded in all the other expansions and minaitures. I wasn’t sure on the miniatures. There are some good games out there but A&A has it’s place in my heart. Just my thought. Don
There are no permenant lines so that alternate land sets could be made and layed down over the water base color. Originally we would lay down low tack adheasive narrow black tape but found that on a map that large, the zones are obvious and you really don’t need them. The next stage that we never got around to was an elevated plexi layer to place the aircraft on.
D:S, even the really deep bunkers are not reachable by the mini-nukes, as they still have to get there and pierce it in the first place, so it is the “hull” of the bomb that is crucial. Read the article for more info on that.
Yeah it’s actually All Quiet On The Western Front I believe, but when it’s literally translated it’s Nothing New on The Western Front. I haven’t seen the movie, the book is good though.
