Okay, it looks like we got 32. I’ll stop the sign-up here, and anyone that shows interest will be considered an alternate incase someone doesn’t show up for their rd 1 game.
Maybe we can get this thing going this week.
As for the Endgame
The problem with only loser concedes is basically just due to time. That is usually how I play and I never play specifically for VC count, but I don’t think that is feasible for a tourney. There needs to be an “out” prior to judgment since I don’t really want to judge games. Obviously a player can concede at any time, but having a back door VC total needed will help in games where you’ve taken a capital, but to try and take out Japan or the UK to finish the job is going to be a pain. That’s why I’m kind of leaning toward 15, since I’d like people to have to at least take a capital, and with 13 you can alter your game and just play for that. IIRC, I think it is possible for the Allies to get 14 without ever taking Berlin, Rome, or Tokyo.
I don’t think it should be too much of an issue I think the vast majority of games will end with loser concessions.
15 VC means for axis they need to take out…… ottawa
but you are right. unless u have some bogus fool refusing to accept loss, it shouldnt be a problem. also 15 VC is OOB rules, so why not just stick with that.
Maybe you could take Wus. :-D
Yeah, I’d hope the Allies would seriously consider surrendering if the Axis had 14 VC after the US turn.
The Rules thread is up here:

DM,
to save yourself a lot of typing, since the initial round was already chosen at random, you could just roll 1 die to see what all of the first players named will play as. (i.e. 1d6 even-Axis, odd-Allies. If you roll odd, then out of the 16 games in the first round, the first named player would play as the Allies, and of course, their opponents would play as the Axis.) Of course, for the following rounds, perhaps the side choosing should be randomized again unless you set up a bracket system of some sorts.
yes!! it got the girl!! :-D
looking forward to my pwnage
He, my game faces a axis advantage believer, me, against a allies advantage believer, Tcnance (tell me if I’m wrong). I guess I’ll get allies and tcnance axis because of die roll. You know, the most probable result is the one that gets the both unhappy :-D

That’s exactly what I was thinking. :-)
