    Well -

    The US inf and planes to Amur were of just impulse - I had them in the area, and thought I could use them as can openers - but instead, they just languished. And I am not sure if bigger risks is the answer - at least once you use bids or balance mod to level things out. I think conservation of forces and delaying the economic/VC gain for the first 4-5 turns while you get the US in the game is probably the best overall goal

    PS. I’m having some troubles with Marti in my combat move for Italy . Hopefully it will work out. I’m attacking S France with 4 inf and 3 figs; I’ve had to force quit once already.
