Did you notice the suggestion that this only happens if you load it up with an earlier version? If you use 2.2.20868, there is no evidence there is a problem (yet).

Essentially, all players should use the same version and then the problem doesn’t occur. I’m playing two games at the moment, one using 2.2.20868 and for the other I’m using 2.1.20365 because that’s what my opponent is using.

And it’s more than just the game hanging, it also removes sub evasion and submerging, and it interferes with the subs stealth movement.

yes… this version :( … but …perhaspboth players must have it?

Not only must both players use it, they must use it every time. A single save with an earlier version will cause the problem.

TripleA is telling me there’s a new version available - I’m gonna hold off until I finish current games but I’m curious if anybody has tried out the new version.

Watch out when using battle calc in version 2.5 (maybe even in some previous versions)

In previous version u had to turn on the ADD AMPHIBIOUS ATTACK MODIFIERS

for your bats and cruisers shots to be included in the calculation.

Now U dont, u just put the cruisers and bats in the calculator, and even u havent pressed ADD AMPHIBIOUS ATTACK MODIFIERS

it still counts as if u had.

it will give u the same results, either u pressed or not have pressed the ADD AMPHIBIOUS ATTACK MODIFIERS button

Daily when Gamer is in a hot A&A game
I try for at least weekly but when I get busy and distracted, sometimes it’s a bit longer.

Well I knew my buddy (IRL) Captain Napalm was playing league on here and so I decided I’d join him. Feckingwrecked was one of my wins on league we have been playing games casually (we know each other in person as well) and just brought our game to the league this time.

I learned Axis and allies back when I was in college so sometime between 2006-2009 and then didn’t play much for years (except for games against the AI on TripleA lol) until recently been playing a lot sense I met Joel aka feckingwrecked back in May of 2019.

Never regret it. Found tons of people for a nice challenge and a couple new friends on top!

I was in a bar in Vancouver BC called the “Junction” and started hearing some regular nerd call @Gargantua talk about some game. He said it was better than chess but he would tell me its name so I put him in a headlock and made him squeal! He never came back!

I play A&A only with weights. 2 45lbs on each end baby! Boom all day!

Could someone tell me when the new season starts? Is it just calendar year January 1st? Would like to try League then.

Are the “moderators” for the site also the League moderators? Or is there specific/main League mods?

As for Gamerman’s question, credit again goes to Witt for suggesting League to me long ago.

@Colt45554 Jan 1st is when it starts. Although games that finish after Jan 1st count towards next year’s season so it is quite possible that games that start now will count towards next year. I believe the moderator here is gamerman but there might also be others. I’m pretty sure it is separate from the site though.

Also, if you are new, it can sometimes be a little hard to find your first game. But @chaptim expressed interest in a game a few days ago and I don’t think he found it yet.
