    @FMErwinRommel Its funny that although Germany is arguably the stronger power…I am still more worried about the Japanese side of the board…G has a lot of coast to defend, has to prop up Italy and also generate enough power to knock out 2 mid size powers (Russia and UK) to win. With a big US buy in the atlantic for a few turns and then a steady tt reinforce to support the UK and Russia the status quo can be observed in Europe for a while.

    Japan has had only 55-65 ipcs a round apart from the big india bonus but still feels a bigger threat as only the US can spend a lot of money at once to counter…India/China can realistically only build a few infs… Anzac can buy the odd spoiler sub and tt but they are powerless against a big air/carrier stack. However US is getting near parity in ships now so hopefully will rein the yellow peril in.

    I got lucky with my bombers this round…but chickened out of a 3rd round in szechwan…I felt we would both hit that round so cut my losses to keep the bomber. Italy picked a bad time to decide to fight…hard to lose a fighter but 2 UK NOs worth it. Can get allied subs into the expensive areas in the med now so italy will be even more of a problem for germany…

    German further advance into Russia has been painfully slow. With the help of the Italians, who took Smol, I attacked the length of the front so the Russian air couldn’t cover everywhere. But Russian troop level in Moscow has been very consistent, new builds replacing losses. Japan will do its part in Siberia, but the newly conscripted Chinese army in western China and the American bombers will preclude Japan racing into Russia on that front.

    So many choices for Japanese fleet that my head is spinning. Can’t hold my position against two U.S. fleets and bombers. I can protect the fleet if I go north, but can’t guard every territory from amphib invasion. U.S. has amassed too many subs. I can take isles, but will lose my tt’s. Will have to decide tomorrow.
