No doubt. They are just a punching bag for so long. I am not sure whether I could have held Gibraltar, but I greatly regret not making you fight for it, by placing 2 Brits there in round 1. I also had a poor/no plan for the US/ANZAC/UKP … again!

A thought, once we complete our first six, we should do the same with the Mod rules/map ( Forget what it is called). Play six.

None, to my knowledge. Its like a computer program windows 1, win 1.3, win 2.
Started as BM, i think its at BM3.3, but i might be screwing that up.
And yes to playing a series with that. All my other games are in BM3. I’m familiar with the rule changes and can help you. Vichy France, the new marine unit, and different NO - changes strategy alot.
When we play BM - bids are between 7 and 18 for the allies. And that i think we should do. -

My wife and i have a homestead - feed ourselves and trade for things we cant grow. And i work for a window, door, and mil work manufacturer and distributor. The company is moving location currently without stopping production - so right now i am doing a bit of everything, the point man for the move at the old location from 4 am till 4pm, 5-6 days a week. It’s insane. Thankfully, I’m not salary anymore. -
That is fricken’ awesome. I would starve to death on a homestead. The most ridiculously comical incompetant death of all time. I’m a city boy.
My mom’s family were sharecroppers outside of Dallas back in the ole timey days. They moved to the big city for work in the 1930s. Grandma said she’d never go back to that farm, her back still hurt from choppin’ that cotton, but she knew sooooo much stuff; it was pretty amazing. Being raised on a farm helped her to know how to do so many things. She was basically a wizard. When it came to cooking, she actually was a wizard. Her, her eldest sister and my mom were the greatest cooks I’ve ever know- bar none.
I can teach and that’s pretty much it. I worked construction for a couple of years and was in the Army from 94-96, but any down to earth skills I learned in those jobs is long forgotten. I’m 56 , with a baby on the way, and trying to max out as much money as possible before I turn 65. After that, the jobs will start to dry up fast.

In reference to your desire to hold Gibraltar - you got to, or at least take it back. In europe - Gibraltar is One of the big keys for the allies. It does do a little for the Axis, but its more about denying its use to the allies, preventing them from simultaneously threatening normandy, holl, w ger, fin, den, s france, italy, africa, and greece. The caroline islands in the pac are the same - its far more important for the allies than it is for japan, so while torwards the mid/end game japan may want to use it, it is very important to deny its use by the allies at almost any point in the game.
Both spots are key for allied mobility. -
