    Not sure where I want the Italian mech in Russia to be until I plan Germany’s move. Moved it to Bry, but may change it on Germ’s turn. Finally took Hol/Bel without getting hit. Attacked with an inf and 6 planes and made only one hit. Took Malta, but running out of troops, so no tt build this turn.

    Haven’t experienced this before as Japan, you can land 5 bombers from China to the U.S. in Iwo, which you just took last turn. And I don’t have a tt or marine to take it back to prevent it. Far fetched that bombers in NW China and the U.S. can reach Japan home waters and land in Iwo.

    @FMErwinRommel Yeah its nasty for japan once the US can get a load of air and subs into sz6…makes building a home fleet tricky and tends to give away control of the south pacific if the main fleet has to concentrate in the north

    Please use second post, one edit. Used an extra ground unit in 2 battles that I normally gamble on, but couldn’t risk. Dice favored me, few Allied hits and low convoy damage. Giving up valuable northern China coastal, but well positioned elsewhere. Even with 82 to spend, I didn’t have enough to build SE Asia capacity in ground troops or more DDs to sink your subs.

    Early on, Japan made the cardinal sin or letting China and India link up in Yunnan. Taking out Russia first has hurt with Burma road giving China more cash and art. Except for China, which can build anywhere, even on newly recaptured land; allied troop builds or inflow will be minimal for a while. Russia can’t send any more and would take many turns. UKPac, after 2 rounds of SBR and capture, can only build one inf next turn and no more than 2 mech reaching Yunnan before UKPac16. Brit mobile army took many turns to build up and reach China; and recent advances by Germ and Italy make more planes unlikely. Which is good for Japan, since its income is back down and can’t build enough troops and transports. The Axis can put up a stiff fight, but all those turns of lopsided income make an Axis victory unlikely.
