What were the results in italy? i guess we call it a loss of the DD and both SS.

I’m cool with the edit, but still baffled with the no scramble. I’ll play around with it after wards and then ask questions if I can’t figure it out.

I know why your baffled. I had the same prob when i played against myself the first game. Took me three times of looking at it. It’s not intuitive - but easy to get once you see it. Can’t quite explain it.

Yeah. Not intuitive. The button says scramble, even if 0 planes were selected. Threw me off the first few times.
I mist say it is looking very rosy for the allies right now! The axis might have to gamble against long odds. And i review the game to see where it turned - and it was the russian stack in china that stalled everything. I didnt see it coming - and japan had to spend time and money and give yp half of china because of it. I have got to figure out how to beat that next time!
Yep, I think the Axis is done.
I had no idea before the game started that I would do that in China. I always looked at those Russian guys as belated reinforcements or a turn stall from their original position. But yeah, that was a game changer.
What might be helpful to both of us , once each of these games are over, considering how new were are, is to do an AAR. An after action review and try to find 3 things(or more if you want) to comment on for our opponent. I would welcome any criticism of choices I’ve made. Anything that will help me to be a better player.
Are you cool with playing the Axis one more time before we switch? I hate to forecast too much, but I think both of us have the same desire to get better and I think we’ll be swapping games for a long time.
