It will continue to fight as long as the destroyer lives. the destroyer is the first casualty so if your sub hits, I’ll lose the destroyer first.

started the combats but realized I should have confirmed a couple of things. I am assuming no scramble in 99 given the odds. And I’m assuming your sub in 19 will not submerge right away, since you can take the destroyer as casualty first if my sub hits and this gives you a free shot with your sub.
