Ok, going with that then. The idea is of course that the carriers are tied up with carrying air. We’ll see how it plays out.
I lack 2 more causalties. There were 8 hits, you accounted for 6.
And remember, here both figs and tacs cost 10, not 10 and 11.

It was a silly attack. Somehow thought wrong about it although your fleet is now rather sensitive. The other idea by doing this kamikaze-pseudo-PH is that J outproduces US quite substantially atm. It was costly, but clipping the USN’s wings is worth a lot of tempo.
I still think it was a silly attack. If you wanted to force combat, better to fly in 3 ftrs and sit in the Hawaii Sea Zone. I couldn’t ignore that and had to attack. I would have been at an advantage but less than the attack you actually did.
That was the move I was mostly fearing actually. Now I’ll be able to get ANZAC back in it and swing the income advantage back to the allies in the Pacific.

Well that is where the USN will go. With that IJN positioning, you have slowed the return of ANZAC though.
