Here are some NAs i have put together. Im working on some others but I thought Id put these up for now to see what people like. If these have already been mentioned elsewhere it is just coincidence but please add the post with time and date on it and I may correct this ;)
JAPAN
**Island Airbases – The Japanese set up many Airfields on the Pacific Islands they captured. These were vital as forward bases as they allowed the Air force to provide air support for their Navy and to progress and capture more territories.**If you have captured any one of these territories, Sumatra, Java, Celebes, Borneo, New Guinea, Dutch New Guinea, New Britain, Solomon Islands, or the Gilbert Islands, during your mobilize units phase of that same round, you may place 1 free Air Base on that territory. You may only place 1 Air Base per turn and only up to 3 free Airbases per game.
**UNITED KINGDOM
Mulberry Harbours – Impending the D-Day invasion, the Germans placed demo charges on all the harbour facilities at all the ports they occupied to make sure the invading Allies had no place to embark. British planners got wind of this and came up with an ingenious solution – the Allies would bring their own harbours.**
After a successful amphibious assault, you may choose to place a Naval Base in that territory for free if it does not already have one. You may place up to 2 free Naval Bases per game.
Operation Pluto - Pipe-Lines Under The Ocean were constructed to pump large amounts of oil between England and France. This was considered necessary as oil tankers relied on good weather and were susceptible to submarine attacks.
Convoy raids in sea zones 93, 105, 109 and 119 do not exist and cannot be raided against while the United Kingdom is in control of the territory adjacent to that sea zone.
Operation Dynamo – This was the codename given to the rescue of British, Belgium, and French troops at Dunkirk. Experienced mariners set off alongside weekend sailors to assist the Royal Navy. Before the remaining defenders at Dunkirk surrendered on the 4th of June, 338,226 men had been carried back to safety.
Any British surface warship that is in a sea zone adjacent to a territory being attacked may be boarded by any allied unit before the Conduct Combat Phase. Same rules for carrying capacity of transports apply. Once the rescued units are onboard they may be transported as far as desired. Any land unit that is on a surface warship must be unloaded into a friendly territory. All units that are on the same ship, even those of friendly powers, must be unloaded at the same time and into the same territory.
ANZAC
Siege of Tobruk – In 1941, Australians successfully defended the coastal city of Tobruk for 250 days from Rommel’s attacks as he advanced towards Egypt. Rommel attacked twice and failed. The Australians then counter attacked and in doing so captured two battalions of Italians.
ANZAC artillery may defend on a 3 in the North African territories of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Tobruk, Alexandria and Egypt. Once a territory has been defended successfully, you may choose 1 attacking unit that did not survive to complement your army. This applies as long as there was defending artillery. This also applies if some attacking units retreat. This also applies if it is a multinational defence.
There must be at least one ANZAC unit (any) in the territory to receive the chosen unit in the Non Combat Move phase of the attacker.
