I’m thinking Kweichow is a more central square and that the chinese may take the northern route, getting away from some of the japanese air-threats.

Looking at UK now. Unfortunately z80 doesn’t look feasible. J will have slightly better odds if we build a sub there, and about even with a des. UK has low income, so investing in fleet now is rather expensive.
Another option is to secure taking Cyprus while protecting the tr, i e moving the fleet to z99. Italy does have 40 % then and a german follow-up with air. Since the italian fleet is going down anyway sometime, maybe it’s good to actually kill off some british fleet when the have the chance.
Probably it’s best to keep the fleet in z98 and sacrifice the tr, but atleast get 2 figs into the attack.

Remembered to blitz Tunisia.
Considered taking out the des in z92, but concluded that it will take too much effort and risk to be worth it. Rather be able to land atleast 2 air in Normandie and probably 2 air in Norway.
-
Although the fleet in z110 is extremely secure, so we’re able to spare a lot of air.

Adding a 2 fig attack on z92, with the plan of landing 1 fig from Cyprus in Alexandria. Don’t want Italy to be able to open up a territory easily to allow for a german follow-up air-strike.
Also thinking now that to build a sub in z98 might be a good idea.

Hmm, in this case, maybe the fleet can just as well hit z92? Then no air is at risk.
-
But the fleet will be unstable there unless UK builds an ab in Gib.
-
Decided to use both figs from Moscow to attack Finland and land in Norway.
-
The french fig will stay, which leaves 4 figs to deter an SBR. I’m not so worried about an SBR of Moscow right now. G likely wants to put the air to other use.
-
I’ll leave this for 10-12 h.
-
I’d use a sub on 92 to save the fighters and be a little more sure.
I would definitely use a second inf on Caucasus. If not, there is a risk that the Italians can blitz into NW Persia and the Germans can land air and make that safe.
Also I’d want to make sure that a German move into NW Persia and then supported by the Japanese air in range doesn’t secure it for them. It looks to me that you have just enough to discourage that, but it will depend on your NCMs and on whether the bomber survives the SB. I might want to spend on art instead of inf in Persia or make sure to have another fighter from Moscow available. If he holds NW Persia, with the tanks and mechs following and with German air, he should be able to get Persia or swing around and get Egypt.
Finally, this may be overkill on a naval build but a carrier would certainly keep the fleet safe in 80 and force him to retreat or stack more. Plus you can bring the transport up from S Africa which gives you two more inf against the Germans. And if China’s units went back to Yunnan you could be in a position to either retake India permanently or force him to pull more units away from the US fleet.
I’m assuming that the Eastern Persia inf are going back to Persia but you might need them in W India too.
-
I thought of a carrier in z80, but thought it was too expensive. Perhaps it’s not under these circumstances? I’ll consider it again.
Another inf in Caucasus is probably wise, as you say.
We definitely want to keep W India safe. Will probably land 2 air there.
I don’t really understand how the chinese stack in Yunnan will make us able to retake Calcutta permanently? Is it the 2 mechs following? Securing Burma?
What I don’t like about that is that it relieves pressure from Anwhe. Don’t want to release the japanese into China too easily.
-
The problem with the carrier-build is that air has to be reserved for landing there and can’t be used for attacks. Think that’s a problem actually.
-
And not keeping the fleet in z98 makes using air on Cyprus rather fishy, since they have to land in Syria. Then we need to stack Syria with some land, which loses a lot of momentum. It’s pretty messy.
-
If there’s a build of 1 art, 1 sub, 1 des in Persia, the fleet will be rather secure in z80, but not without bringing both subs from z98.
Haven’t looked at what the situation will be in NW Persia with that build.
I’m leaning towards land-builds, perhaps a sub in z98 and keep the fleet there, thereby securing Cyprus and not risking air against the des in z92. Also prepares for a crush of the italian fleet, which is good.
I really like the idea of pressuring the japanese fleet by India, but it just seems too costly to achieve in a good way.
