What would you have done had you been Hood or another general in the West?
If I was Hood I would have shadowed Sherman deep into Georgia and attempted to counter attack him near Savannah while his supply lines were at his longest.
As I recall from the movie, when Longstreet says to him, "You people had your own civil war, didn’t you?’ Fremantle opens his reponse with a breezy, “Oh, that.” Funny line, nicely delivered by the actor.
But if we want to discuss borrowing ideas, Jesus sounds damn near like Mithras. A beautiful concept though…proselytizing through assimilation. Has worked wonderfully.
