    I like that, I generaly avoid a german navy and spend 100% russia for 6 rounds to get russia turtled fast, then diversify my spending


  • We play a little different then. I usually go earlier on navy, but, like you, as late as possible. Main point is to control z112 and also be able to spread subs to take away NOs.


  • So I’d guess that my stack of fast-movers makes that possible, while slow-movers won’t make the trick quick enough.


  • As I’ve analysed it G can’t safely control the mIC in Ukraine by G4 unless mech is built on G1, and you don’t want to grab the factory with Italy.

    my game against @surfer went on for 16 rounds due to the Italians having it, might’ve had a shot as Germany to bust through Caucasus before allied pincers closed in west. It was the deciding factor in that game, that damn factory. It was my first tripple a game, was learning

    To bad odds. If I fail, I lose the control of the Pacific. Can’t let that happen. Now, next turn I will have 100 %. That’s better. ;)


  • And even if I win, there will be heavy causalties and tough to re-mobilize. Have to build land as well, while US can build 100 % fleet if they feel like it.

  • I don’t like to have separated fleet like that, but it was called for. It’s so nice with kamikaze. Even with shaky odds like these on both spots, they’re rather safe with the kamis.
