I think your special opening of contesting Yunnan and pushing lots of russian force east would be pretty stable with that huge a bid.

te some allied strategies, improve them , and if i can put a good resistance to top players, i ll continue playing this game, if not i ll take a break and wait for the bids to grow
i need to check some of the top players games, and implement something from their top moves into my play
That’s a very good strategy for improvement. Well worth the time invested.
I checked out A-D vs JDOW A-semi. Perhaps 10 min. Learned a lot! Also when looking at A-D’s play against you gave me some worthy revelations. Maybe 5 min used there. Extremely efficient way to improve.

i ve lost only one game with axis ,and that was against adam. and he is n1 without contest in this league, so its not a measure
axis have 2:1 rating in this league season, all though the allies have a bid of 10-20, now going to 20+
and karl and some other exp dudes are just writing what i ve been writing all along
the axis are overpowered

yes, ur improved axis showed germany can be efficient in the east and still defend europe with bunch of carriers
even AD mentioned u in some thread xd

i am slightly loosing motivation to play a and a
the axis are owerpowered, and nobody will give me 40 or 50 bid with alllies
i like allies, dont like to play much with axis, but if i want to keep winning i need to play the axis
and that sucks from my point of view
The great part of your opening strategy is that it’s very unconventional and fresh, but, like I stated before, it’s not very solid against prime opposition.
My suggestion is that you keep it for special occasions and go on a more traditional route as main weapon. Perhaps less fun in a way, but you’ll get quite a higher chance of kicking butt with Allies with say a 20-bid. Like in our game. Despite 19 for Allies, which I consider a big bid, J managed to control the situation around Yunnan, which was key in this game.
-
yes ,i ll definitely try one game with a russia that doesnt go heavily against japan rd1
it will be fun for me since i dont play that way
i ve learned someting though
farmboy and adam use the 20 units amur stack to attack korea and manchuria even without usa going in there first. and they are top class players so
definitely worth a thinking , to find other ways to pressure japan
also my midway strategy is good but i musnt be focused on midway only, but also going south to australia or something

Before Germany can start to defend the west front, primarily through fleet, they need to get their income pushed up by making progress in Russia. Without that success, the west front will inevitable fail as well.

interesting thought
i have some new ideas for allies, that i will try to implement in my future games
unfortunately i can not play against u anymore, since we ve played 5 games already, and i dont have 20 games finished

i am also open to tech since it brings more fun into the game

Might be good, but I’m not sure. It doesn’t pose too big of a problem for J, while it makes J pretty happy that they don’t have to DOW on Russia.
Still, when the big guns do that move, it really can’t be bad. :)

yeah, i like some of my allied moves, especially destroying and convoying italy,
but as ksmkcay said well , i should focus more on germany with uk and usa , and not italy , if i go heavily to yunan
he praised my strategy but said i need to send less units there

adam and farmboy have this great move with uk on rd 1
gibraltar AB , and stacking sz 92 -

I’ll try and present a fun system for tech. Not sure when that will happen and would also need a bit of impementation from the developers.
-
but i have to be realistic, i was tier 1 last time, few years ago, i came back and now i am tier E, and i have a lot of places to improve my (game)play so i am not discontent, just i need to take a little break, and more medidating strategies and take fewer games, to be able to put my performances on a greater scale.
i play tier M and E guys only lately, so i have to do my best to put a better resistance

u think that early sea lion is a trap, ksmkcay thinks going for taranto is a trap
interesting thoughts

Hehe, I think Taranto is strong as well.
Early Sea Lion is definitely crap. Trap-crap.

i am keen to bm3, and i would like to see some improvements in bm4
as for PTV, i would rather wait to see in which direction it will go, and i have an impresion that PTV games will last much longer then BM do.
maybe i am wrong, but thats my first impression.
-
Weren’t we going to play a game with me as Allies where you are committed to an early Sea Lion? :)
The bad thing there though is that I would know about it, but I can promise that I can play my usual style and not reinforce London extra, but rather invite the blow.
