Flight Stand Blanks

I am looking for someone that can help me to find where to purchase iron or steel blanks that will match up to the 8mm magnets people use on the flight stands and aircraft carriers. I don’t want my planes to stick together in the trays if possible but need something the same size and can’t find them anywhere.

Thought those magnets were 3mm?
My first thought is how many plugs you can get out of a 16p nail with a hacksaw?

You are correct, 3mm. Yeah that’s not a bad idea. I just decided to start putting magnets in my planes as well.

I’ve used the 1/16 x 1/32 magnets available from http://www.primalhorizon.com/products.php and I highly recommend them.
