I didn’t expect you to go for that fleet given the odds, but despite that and the good dice I had, I think that move actually paid off for you. Your loss was only -6 and the German attack will potentially make that up. It may be the case that I should have committed to losing fighters instead of fleet, but I was thinking that the German follow up made that too much of a risk.

@Amon-Sul because of the destroyer, my sub had a free first strike which made this worth it. I’m pretty sure if I had missed and your sub had hit, I could have taken the destroyer as a casualty before your air rolled (although not a 100% sure on that)
