    @Makalakalane I noticed that you repaired the Moskou factory 100%. That was not needed to purchase those 4 units (you could have repaired less and built more units). Also, I think I had the option to use kamikaze tokens when you attacked the destroyer next to Tokoyo, no? Not important this time though.


  • @Enno I only attacked with subs. The destroyer was put there in non-combat. But yea, regarding reparing… I have been playing extremely poorly the past few days and I probably need a break from this game.

    @Enno Ah, I missed the attack only with subs, sorry. Regarding the repairs; just an advice, as I think you play pretty good. It is hard to go directly for Tokyo though; too many planes. Not sure what the better approach is; maybe challenging the money islands and defending China as you already do.

  • @Enno you assumed right. But Russia wont survive this. You bombers are hitting insanely high. 2 Bombers hitting 14 first time and now 20 with 4 Bombers. It’s an average of 5 the first time and 4,5 the second time, without adding the 2 extra. I don’t think I will hold Korea in anyway, so this game is pretty much over. I will give it 1 or 2 rounds more, but I really need a break from this.

    @Makalakalane Thanks for the game! To be fair, I haven’t lost a single game with the Axis yet, and think a bid of 30 is still too low.


  • @Enno what bid do you think is fair? Maybe I just need to clear my head a little.
    By the way - I think I broke the rules… I found out that it’s not a legal move to blitz through pro-allies/axis countries during non-combat. I’ve been placing a Mech in West India in quite a few games to take both the pro-allies countries west of there in the first turn. That’s apparently not legal.

    @Makalakalane Not sure yet what the appropriate bid is. So far I’ve always used less than 30, but I’ve always played Axis and not yet lost. I suspect it is in the 40-60 range.


  • @Enno well, we could try one with 40? I don’t have a lot of victories in the bag, but it’s always gone pretty well with a high bid with Allies. I’m used to a bid of 16, but lately it’s been going really poorly in most games.
