@gamerman01 I’m appreciative of your effort to track and make the league work. My hats off to you, because yes at the end of the day (or year) everything does seem to work out. And even though I’m a relative newcomer, I’m happy you provided a reasoned, frank response to my post. Really, I’m not disgruntled by the ranking system, but when other systems were being thrown out there, I just thought I’d put my idea out there. That it got some attention was satisfying/entertaining.
In the meantime, I keep playing and maybe see you out there.

Not sure, but as I remember it was majikforce who discussed playing other players and how it hurt his record.
Not fully certain, but I believe that majikforce isn’t the one. He has previously explicitly stated that he doesn’t care about his rating and is happy to play newcomers to help them get aqcuainted with the league.
Maybe you are rather referring to me? :grin:

Regarding the discussion about ranking systems. Occhams razor is always a good principle. Keep things as simple as possible.

I am famous for getting over committed to like 5+ games and then losing a bunch because I can’t keep track of what’s going on!
