  • @akreider2 Don’t know - you can always try it in a local version to test. In the case of naval bombardment I think it’s either or for the entire combat - ie, you either kill the transport or bombard.

    The local test was a good idea. Transports don’t block combat movement. Otherwise they’d make for good cheap blockers.

    The squeeze on the Japanese fleet off of India looks like a great move. Hopefully I can find a way out of it, but I’m not confident. This might be partially a result of danger of looking at only 20% of the board at a time - I probably didn’t even have the UK fleet off of Africa on my screen most of the time ;)

    It will also be interesting if Russia falls, but Japan gets a lot of its money taken away as I haven’t played that scenario yet. I’m not sure whether it’s better for the Germans to take out Russia or to just go for most of their Russian related NOs.

    I decided to pull back to possibly attack the Russian stack in Korea, because I don’t think I could have reinvaded India consistently.

    If you see anyway I could have saved my Indian fleet I’d be happy to hear of it after my move (where I’m currently planning on abandoning it). I was thinking about moving my SZ 6 fleet to SZ 36 to threaten a counter-strike, or even putting down 2-3 airbases (but the planes cannot reach).

    Interesting. Didn’t expect you to attack my smaller fleet and move all in.

    Note my rookie mistake. I thought the aa gun would stop the guerilla spawn in Chahar. At least that’s the type of mistake I can afford!

    Now hopefully you stop shooting down my bombers. Right now I’d be happy if they only died 20% of the time. LOL.
