Map 2 .pdf

Well got about 70 hours into map now. Got rid of the waves, redid all territory borders and sea zones. That alone took 36 hours. WT ! Nice and clean and crisp. Made territories bigger and smaller based on what goes on in my game.
Got to add more stuff yet and fine comb too. To me colors are off but probably pic.
I’ll try and post a pic of old map with waves and or go back in thread for pics.

OK. Pretty much map is done. proof looking over and some name movement adjustments needed yet and then some…
Hope to print Wed and then I’ll post picks of both maps showing what I did and tell you about history of the map and who’s map I used as a template so there’s no more confusion.

There is some small things on territories I need to erase so don’t get your panties worked what. Lol

There is a few names in USRR which need to be corrected. For example, it is Volgograd not Volgarod…

I’m Quebecois I don’t feel St-Laurent river is part of the map… .;) Sad but true…

The “St-Laurent River” is better known in English as the Saint Lawrence River. It is the outlet from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean.

Kvenki SSR is, in fact, Evenki Autonomous Okrug.
(In G40, it is Evenkiyski.) In 1942.2, it is Evenki National Okrug.)

Kansk should be Krasnoïarsk.

Archangel need to be Arkhangelsk
Yakut SSR need to be Yakutsk SSR.
because you use “sk” for Murmansk and Norilsk.

Libya should be named Fezzan or Southern Libya.
Somalialand is spelled Somaliland.

Northern Algeria should be Algiers.
Algeria should be named Southern Algeria.

Sardina (lol) should be Sardinia.
Abbyssinnia should be written: Abyssinia.

Seville or Sevilla is missing in the blank territory just above Gibraltar.
Switz should be Switzerland. Probably not enough space on the map…

Palan is Palau (island)
Papau is not on this island (near Samoa), it is Port Moresby or Territory of Papua.

The Northwestern part of these Himalayan mountains is named Tian Shan. If you want to split in two impassable regions. As you did on your regular map.

This is the map we played on for over 3 years with tweaks to map as we played. This is Deathheads map. The confusion is people think this is HBG 39 map and it’s not. HBG took this map template and changed some things on it and made it there 39 global map.
The map on next page is my redesign to fit my 41 game and just cleaned it up. Took over 80 hours and still be a tweak here and there.
A map is never done. Plus a change or 2 will happen on game play over the course of time.
