I didn’t post or save the Chinese turn and then I exited Triple A without saving it as I wanted to redo the UK combat move setup (as I was accidentally attacking your sub without a destroyer). 1) What are the league rules about this? I’m guessing you can redo a combat move if you haven’t posted it (and haven’t rolled any dice or asked about scrambles).

It’s kind of a no no. I don’t mind if this time you just edit in the Chinese move as it doesn’t change anything.
In the future just save the game after the Chinese move and then exit. Reload the game and then play it as a local game - you can do anything you want there including trying strategies. When you have what you like then save it post combat move, restart as a PBEM game and then run the dice.
