    I dont think you needed to do much to discourage that attack. Certainly turned out better than average (average is a loss of 4 planes) but I still think it would have been a very positive result if I had gotten poor dice and lost 8 planes.

    I mean you didnt really do anything to defend India. Aside from one bomber, you didnt move anything there, you moved your UK fleet away and didnt give yourself away to counter my fleet at all, didnt give yourself anyway to take it back (for instance putting a unit or two in west india), and you didnt position any US/Anzac forces to do anything dangerous.

    Just felt like a very bold move by the allies trying to bait me into attacking with good odds. Even if I lose a bunch more planes, allies are in trouble. With average dice or what I ended up with, I think the situation is now hopeless.
