If I’d know the outcome of these dice, I’d saved 4 untipped ac’s and maybe a des. Couldn’t count on it though, which means anything saved would be massacred by the brits anyway. Atleast that was my conclusion.

i know. Thats why we do round by round in these battles. If you save undamaged carriers and hit 11 instead of 18 it is a disaster for you. Still you have a chance to make a dent to the british. i think I would have made same selection. Hard to say and no “correct” answer
