it was pretty fortuitous that I had it there.
don’t think it matters too much but I meant to move the German navy in 70 to 83
just realized that you must have changed your mind on a casualty in Italy to allow the US to take it. But in my combat there was no American units there. Feel free to roll another dice to see if another German air unit is destroyed.

I think I again lost this game in the Middle East. Seems to be a real weakness in my allied play. I had intended to build an IC in Iraq with ANZAC but then for some reason decided against it after I took the territory. I would not have had enough troops when you brought down that mechanised force. I think I may have been worried about an ANZAC IC being used against me. Well, maybe the price had to be paid. Having a few ANZAC troops in the area could have really helped. Or maybe, they would have been killed uselessly.
Gee, I wonder if I should have done a naval block of Egypt round 2? Or a retreat from Iraq to Trans-Jordan UK2? I think the attack on Trans-Jordan I2 was a setback I didn’t really think about. Was just thinking about Egypt. I think I was also a little worried about Italy and Egypt stacking up Iraq with air forces.

Yeah, it was good. And you came very close. Can switch sides if you like or rebid.
I don’t have a great memory of the early rounds except that I recall squandering the Italy fleet early. I’m not sure, but I was thinking that once you got a narrow advantage in the Pacific, you should have moved more spending to the Europe side. I suspect though that I didn’t look as close to a Europe victory as I was given the relative strength of the Soviets.
