I’m familiar with the map having played it against a non-competitive buddy; but I’m not intimately familiar with it. I don’t know any standard moves, if there is any accepted understanding of such like G40. What I’m saying is, if you’re very good at the map I’d probably be wasting your time but would like to give it a try.
If you’re still interested, I’d be down for that. I’ve played about five games against the AI and two against humans – I feel like I have a decent sense of how the map works, but I’m not an expert. You can pick which side you want.
@Argothair I’m still interested; I need a break from G40. Getting my ass kicked about 10 times in a row in League play will do that to ya I guess. I’ll take Allies.

Any settings you care about in terms of game options?
@Argothair that sounds fine yeah I don’t care about the dice server. I’ve never once opened an email from Marti to see what they were lol. As for settings, I know that the map is set to Low Luck, which I’m ambivalent about. I’m generally opposed to LL as it seems to take the variance out, and that’s what makes games unpredictable. The battle calculator already takes out a lot of the guesswork, I dunno. If you have strong feelings we can leave it but I prefer dice.

Jason, I think we can just do common sense OOL. If it’s a big battle, or if it’s statistically plausible one of us could get diced (<90% win rate for either side). I think we should pause and ask. In situations like the Russian Baltic fleet is in, max defense please, transport is just fodder.
Sounds good to me! After all that, the naval battles wound up being crisp this turn, anyway. The German navy did very well for itself, but Army Group West has its shoes tied together. Three casualties against Belgium! That’s full dice for you – full of surprises. :)
I’m going to just rely on the PBEM to send you saved files, and not post here. Have fun with R1.
Hey, are we still doing this? I don’t know how often you like to post turns, but this can be a long game – 14 turns or so times 10+ countries means that if we let too long go between moves, then we’ll still be playing in 2021.
