I think the allies have the situation under control in Europe. In the pacific the situation is ok for the allies, but Japan is still strong. However, I think it will be a struggle for Japan to take the final VC. I dont have the map in front of me, so I might be missing something.

I really need to improve my defences. Maybe I couldn’t see a better option the last Italy/Germany turn than just hope you didn’t attack. Or maybe I just stuffed it.

Well, honestly, i think this is mostly sloppy play from your side, if i can say so. For the fall of Berlin it is fairly straight forward to figure out how much you need when the british have 3 loaded transports and x planes whitin reach. Also keep in mind the american air base trick in normandy.
Similar for Rome, you should calculate that the americans have a great shoot at blowing up your fleet and then it is pretty much a walk in the park for the british. Maybe you forgot to place german planes in rome? Maybe in both situations you played too fast? I know you are very much aware of what i write here as you have become a very good player Simon33. Therefor i am surprised you do two blunders like this… I just think you play too fast and dont consider everything. I dont know
Whitout these errors i think you would have been in a very good position to take this home.

I did feel very confident about this game until I lost Berlin. Even though Japan was a bit behind schedule, I liked Italy’s strength.
Perhaps I need a bit of a break from playing. Starting to seem like work a bit.
