well yeah. In this version transports participate in battle. They have 0 attack value but defend at 1. So because I purchased and deployed into the sea zone, after combat, there was no fight on my turn. Then on yours, you’re in a contested sea zone, leading to a fight. However, you didn’t bring anyone with an attack value to the fight! Fight is still triggered (as you couldn’t retreat anywhere), and without plane support, were guaranteed to lose.
