Kamikaze are a defensive weapon, which are resolved at the beginning of the combat phase, so the attacking air units have already launched from their carriers are not in danger (unless they are “guest” air units). As such, they will participate in combat even if their carrier is hit, and will have the remainder of their movement to land as normal afterwards.
Alpha+.2 National Objective Charts + Simple 1940 Battleboard
-
I put together some updated NO charts for Alpha+.2 in case anyone is interested. Unfortunately they don’t all fit on one page any longer so I split them into two. Use infantry units to mark NOs that are active. Enjoy! :)
Also here’s a simple battleboard I put together. My A&A buddy and I are on the same side of the table, so I put together a battleboard with all the text facing the same way to make it easier to read. Works for all 1940 series games.
Get it here.

Nice.
The money looks good aswell btw. From which version are they?
-
The money is from historicalboardgaming.com. I sold off all my old A&A versions to pay for the new games, but I can’t function properly without paper money, so I snagged a couple stacks from them. Especially when I’m playing the Allies in .2 and I’m working on four purchases in a row while I’m waiting for Japan to finish its turn.
I highly recommend HBG, btw - the money is excellent and he shipped it out quick.

Those are great, just be ready to change with the setup.
Edit: The battle board is nice, too simply perfect -
Good job! Nice and clean looking!

Thanks! And yes, I’m ready to change with the setup. This is version 6 of the file. :P
