The global game has a ton of playing pieces, but there’s always room for improvement. Like many people, we 3d printed air and naval bases. I’m curious what pieces others have cannibalized from other A&A editions. This is what we use:

I recently played Axis and Allies Global and it only took 5 hours. On Germany’s first turn all they did was build. The same thing with the Soviet Union and Japan. When it got to UK’s turn, I purchased 2 battleships and took out Germany’s battleship and sourrounded the island. The rest of the players also built up. If anything what should have the other countries done to prevent an alllied victory.

Germany, Japan and Italy have to be aggressive. While also taking calculation on when to go to war with certain countries. So if you just sit and build without moving, you’re doomed.
