    Unfortunately, yes. Not to take it over, but to weaken it since there’s no British navy presence, this could buy time.

    Yeah, when the Russians are pushing back on Germany, the Axis are in trouble. Italy was out-earning UK, which you would think would be something. The problem was that Japan were also struggling and USA didn’t really need to bother them too much to push them back. So Italy couldn’t really fight half of USA on their own.
