Yes, this is true…… BUT, when you drop them off on UK’s turn, and then on USA’s turn the transports move to pick them up, then on UK’s turn load on the transport, then on USA’s turn transport them, and UK’s turn unload. It takes a lot of time. And within those turns, Germany (if they still have their air force) can sink that American transport. So, I think its not a good strategy.
House Rule: Disappearing Subs
-
Ok so i actually remember posting this before but i can’t seem to find it in the forums so i’ll just post again. Anyway,
my idea was to have subs disapear from the battle board so that your opponents do not know where they are. I thought that each side could just write down where there sub “is” on a piece of paper (the sea zone it moved to or stayed in) that way transports could not travel on the seas without an escort for fear of being attacked by realistically submerged subs. For an attack the player would just move his sub 1 or 2 movement points and could verify it by showing the opposition his piece of paper. I haven’t tried this yet but i’m looking for feedback. Thanks a bunch. -
that sounds not too shabby…that would definatly spice up some games…
