@Wittmann said in 1914: 3 English gents play the CP and 3 unruly Yanks play the Entente:
Adam is happy with his Austrians, so I will play on and play Germany too. Ever the megalomaniac, me!
Leo must learn to comprehend English. Since he can hardly speak Italian, he needs to master at least one language!
What I said is that although my Austrians are doing so VERY well, given my lack of reliable allies an honourable surrender is best! So congrats to our colonial cousins on their victory.
It would be good to start another game. Leo - shall I ask our BoB buddies whether one of them would join us? I am not aware of any of them using triple a, so it is a long shot, but you never know.
-
Witt has asked me to sound out our BoB buddies …. so am doing that ….
-
If you want to carry on until we find a third Brit, I am happy to do so.
-
@Wittmann I feel like I am talking to myself, but I am sure that is how all geniuses feel.
I suspect none of the 8 other British players, who meet in Derbyshire, will join us. I imagine they are more technophobe than even me.
Can I suggest, therefore, that we continue and
Allow our American friends the satisfaction of really finishing a job well done?
Adam, don’t force me to come up to rural, backward, Derbyshire to see you! -

Anything but that! :scream:
If we have not heard anything from the other GB players by cob tomorrow then we should ask our European friends. If we Brits have any left that is!
So ought to be sorted one way or the other in a couple of days.
Hopefully the fact of this reply has dealt with your genius delusion!?
-
@Private-Panic it has . Thank you my scarecrow loving friend.
-
Well good game fellas though I think we can all agree this map favored Entente a bit. The good news is I released a new version v1.4 that should balance things a bit and change log is here: https://forums.triplea-game.org/topic/1399/domination-1914-no-man-s-land-official-thread. So please make sure to update to that before we start a new one.
I’m fine swapping sides and starting up a new one either 2v2 or 3v3 depending on how many interested parties we have. You are welcome to bring as many Brits as you need to try and defeat us proud Americans!
-
@redrum We might have to borrow a German, if we can’t find a brave Brit. (The shame, I know!).
-
@Wittmann That works as well. We can take on all of Europe!
-
Right! A fellow Brit has come on board. Colin. He is just installing Triple A, etc.
So shall we sort sides. Obviously we are Entente this time. We will discuss and let you know our allocation of Powers. Do you want to do the same and G can then start the game.:relaxed:
-
So our split is:
F & S - Adam
It, S & US - Colin
GB & R - LeoColin’s username is GuilyCol. This will be his first triple a game. When you have the new game thread started would you be kind enough to share a link.
-
@Private-Panic Hmm giving Leo the bulk of the work so you can make sure he’s to blame when the Entente are defeated?
@captainwalker @Degrasse are you both in for another game? If so let me know which CPs you’d like to play.
-
@redrum I suspect that was my friend’s plan, when he conceived it. Not sure I want the weight on my shoulders or my poor, damaged eyes. Perhaps, when Adam has lost the game fir us, I can pass him one of my strong nations to replace his crippled one.

He is always to blame, regardless of which nations he plays, redrum. Surely you know that!?
-
Do start, when you have chosen sides. Adam (our Napoleon) will be taking a nap, when all the important actions are taking place anyway.
-
Clearly our American cousins are too scared to take us on Leo! It must be your masterful play of Turkey in our last game that has frightened them off ……
-
@Private-Panic Either that or they are having their sided stitched back together, after all the laughing they did, after rereading how you failed to take Belgrade and messed up our unassailable naval position in the Eastern Med.
-
@redrum I’m in for another…doesn’t matter which power I play
-
@captainwalker @redrum good morning.
Will one of you take Germany and get us started, please? I am sure @Degrasse will be happy to take Austria or Turkey.
