@cernel That’s quite a loophole you’ve discovered. It’s things like this that made LHTR necessary. You are correct about point 1. Regarding point 2, I see nothing in the rules that would disallow attacking an unoccupied enemy-controlled territory with only air units.
Is there any use for the Mideast Oil NA?

I think all National Advantages have some sort of good use… but I can’t find a single good use from mideast oil…

You can get British aircraft to Australia/Pacific/SE Asia faster. But you are correct, in general, this one is pretty useless.

Even then, it’s not really all that beneficial if you ask me.
It does work to get the Bomber back out of Egypt though. Attack Egypt, land in Trans-Jordan and use Mid-East Oil to get 6 more movement out of the bomber for next round.
