They come pre-painted and ready to rock but feel free to paint away. All expansion pieces come painted as well. Easy game to learn but made to play as a stand alone game, not recomended for the board games. Although you can use the infantry pieces.

What comes first… movement roll or defensive fire… and if the movement roll fails does defensive fire still happen?

99% sure its Movement, and if the Move roll fails then no movement took place so no DF. I’ll dig it up…

This is actually your life long problem… only looking at things one way…
A succesful attack can stop the unit in the starting hex, so how can the movement roll take place?
Have a nice drive back to queens with no teeth.
