If London is the capitol city of UK, does UK must give ALL (including Indias) IPCs to Germany in case of a successfull Sealion.

No. The two UK economies operate independently of one another, so only the Europe economy IPCs would go to Germany. India would continue to collect and spend IPCs.

I agree with Taamvan but in one game I did build an airbase in Shan State later in the game which helped to crush Japan. As it happened, Axis won in Europe in that game, rather narrowly. I think SZ37 had the USN parked in it, just with assistance from the UK.

This also works on the Pacific side. If Calcutta is captured and some UK Europe troops liberate West India, no one gets the IPCs until Calcutta is liberated.

Bam…that’s it. Most games are going that direction. Rome and Cairo are the kickbacks before Moscow goes down. From there it gets even- very long slow grind.

The battle is won in the Med/Africa/MidEast region period. It gets very tactical and dicey here, which is why I think the game is even, Allied advantaged as the game gets longer, past 10 rounds.

Agreed, if you built a Carrier with Germany on round 1, and the UK either buys units in S Africa or builds an IC somewhere, the Germans need to go all in on Sea Lion. As Germany, launch your attack on London on G3 and you should win with acceptable losses. Situations like these are what Sea Lion is all about :)

I agree with both of u.

What I was suggesting is that German can have a good control on the fate of the uk navy, even if they leave z111 untouched.
I am not sure how to relate that idea with a grand German strategy yet. And, well, I am looking to see, if any friend here may have a creative plan to go.

AA, to me, is fun in mind.

Each board’s territories goes to its capital, meaning if its on the Pacific map, it goes to India and the Europe map goes to London.
