Need help creating custom map on a photo editor

If I have a draw out custom map on paper, can anybody scribe it to a photo editor to make it look similar to the regular A&A board game? Willing to pay! I just dont have the technical know how to create on on a photo editor.

And on a related point: if you look at an online map of the world and place a rectangular sheet of paper on it so that one of its long edges lies on the equator (alternately covering, for purposes of comparison, the bottom half and the top half), you’ll notice that most of the world’s land masses are in the northern hemisphere. All of North America, all of Europe, virtually all of Asia, and much of Africa are located there. The main land masses in the southern hemisphere are South America, the lower part of Africa, Australia, and Antarctica; the rest of the southern hemisphere is mainly water, which means that for A&A map purposes it’s mostly wasted space. Oceania, a.k.a. the Pacific Islands, including Australia and New Zealand, did see significant action in WWII, so its inclusion on an A&A map is quite relavant…but by the same token Antarctica is a land mass that’s traditionally (and with good reason) omitted from A&A maps.

@Tjoek I just want to show off some more images of these incredible maps from a recent solo game.

This printout is from an HP DesignJet T830 on satin paper at 60x32" and covered by a 1/8" sheet of acrylic. I assure you that any blurriness in the photos is due to image compression or camera focus - the map itself is razor sharp and beautiful!

The key that I’ve seen is the dam rifles like to peel from use and I do use my pieces a lot. So main reason why I asked if there was a better sticking primer.

With some specific parts of pieces, I think moderate chipping and flaking of paint is going to be inevitable, especially with the rifle ends of the infantry pieces. Those end pieces (the rifle barrels) flex and bend around when being handled. Therefore, you need to find a flexible primer and paint to work with that flexing. Latex paint is one type that comes to mind. This type of paint is used heavily by scale RC airplane guys (me included). As a scale RC airplane is flying in the air, the wings and control surfaces get flexed. Furthermore, fluctuations in temperature and humidity make the wooden structure of the RC plane expand and contract. They need a paint that works with all this flexing and contracting so that the paint doesn’t flake off and chip away. Latex paint.

I have not tried it on scale miniature game pieces, so I cannot say with certainty if it works just as well in this arena. All you can do is try it and see.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I hope by this weekend ill have some pics of the progress. Ill set up a few different border styles, all of which will be towards natural. I actually like the sea zones, so ill just keep that look… since ive also already recreated that look/layer anyway haha.

They have a turn, I believe, before the US player. The US player usually controls them, but they are still play as their own country. They have their own rules, which you will need to study.

You don’t necessarily have to have the Chinese dice, but is cool to own them, if you can get them.
