  • @wizmark if we both had rolled average, I would have won. But maybe not as big as bat calc. Tough decision, sink 1 CV and give up attack points, or 2 CVs and at the end, have to ditch planes. Having 3 more DD/subs than you & extra BB gave me advantage. Which was totally offset by your great dice. I read the wrong line on the PUs

    Again lopsided dice. Italy attacked Tobruk with 98% chance, but I rolled 2-8 & U.S. rolled 4-6. Germ was to take Tunisia, now it will have to take Tobruk. At least the gamble in TJord paid off.

    Lousy dice, we both scored 2 hits in air battle and your AA shot down 1/2 my bombers & the survivor only rolled 2, plue the bonus. So I lost 12 PU bomber for 4 damage…

    After the strat bombing battle, the triplea computer program developed a glitch in the Tobruk battle. In the first round of dice, it said take 0 hits and didn’t let me select any casualties. On 2nd & 3rd rounds, all original units fired again. As confirmed by marti emails. Then results said all Americans were killed & all Germ survived. I checked the history log & it listed all text lines as edit mode. The remaining 2 small battles were also in edit mode, but the hits were processed correctly. I will replay the save game and only use the new results for Tobruk. I will edit the game to reflect the original battle results for the other battles.

    I made the edits to the game, except for one. I needed to reduce factory damage in Russia by 1 point. I got the adjust factory damage button to light up, but it only let me change it by 1, and I assume +1. So I left damage at 9, but increased your P.U. by 1, from 23, to 24.

    Germ went from double Rus income, to triple, or +50, and now +55. But Ger has spent most on planes, subs & troops for defense in W. Europe & the Med. I hoped my strat bombing would stop your production, but the dice have thwart me again.

    I did the combat move on a computer at another location and then on my normal computer when I got home. Both have been updated to 1900.13066, but its possible that the game launcher on the other computer may not have the latest map or game version. The Americans in Tobruk outfought the Italians earlier. By all rights, the Italians should have eliminated the U.S. in Tobruk, allowing Germ to take out the U.S. in Tunisia. That would have eliminated your mobile units in N. Africa. Likewise, Germ/Italy have been keeping the Allies out of helping Russia.
