I wanted the Ruskies to support the Brits in Eastern Russia. But if they went NE, there were Ger or Jpn infantry supportable by air to kill them. So decided to combine the 2 lonely wanderers and bring them next to the rest of the Russian army. Germany is dispersing its builds. A mini Sea Lion or stationed to retake Norway if its attacked? Or keep me guessing so I build troops in UK.

Perverse dice again. China attacked 2 terr., 2-1 each. Anhwe, where I had 2 ground troops, I hit & you missed. Kiangsi, where I had 1 ground troop, I missed & you hit. I wouldn’t take the flying tiger as the hit. So UK attacked with a tank & missed & you hit again. That upset the balance I had calculated to defend all the territories. Now I was short a unit & you were up a unit. After long recalculation, I found a spot where the mobile UKP army in Russia could move to with the least exposure & planes could reach: while also protecting Kansu, Kwe & Hunnan, including ANZ units.

I increased the London garrison in case you decide to do Sea Lion. And to discourage you from trying. Taking you down has become a long, drawn out affair, at which I am tenacious and good at.

Germany postpones Sea Lion. There should be a seasonal weather factor when it’s not feasible to launch across the Eng Chan. Batt Calc gives you only 4% chance. Even if you only lost 1 bomber to AA, instead of 2, your odds were still 8 or 9%. You should have gone defensive with infantry like in our team game. Germ & Italy can crank out the units & be a very hard nut to crack.

Player stats says Russ has 10 units, but I can only find 9 (tank in Africa). Russ infant consolidating in Kansu, China. Brit adventure into Russ wilderness appears over. Despite my greater income, Japan finally moved its bombers & infant to join Germ in surrounding. Brit ground troops will take the narrow channel of escape to Kansu & planes will fly off. Germ has sidelined troops wandering in the Russ wilderness. Brit is concentrating major force closer to Mideast I.C.s, outnumbering Germ.
