another battle I lost at 70% plus chance. Thats like three important battles that were in my favor that I lost. All dice game tips game results too much in favor of luck. I like strategy games with only some luck determining the outcome. But then again you do have top players that consistently stay in the top irregardless of luck. So I dont know
@max334 Well I have found that 70% is no gimme. I seem to always lose 70% battles. The first round of combat is so important in those types of battles. Especially without air support and it being a small number of units. Those can either way more often than not. Think of it this way I could of changed my casualty choice and saved a fighter instead of the BB and then you would of had no chance at it. LOL! You need to be in the 90’s to have a really good shot at winning a battle. Hey I just lost Moscow in one of my other games at 39% odds! It will probably lose me the game even though I am in full control on the board. Haven’t been diced like that in awhile. As with any game that involves dice there is always a downside to the proposed odds. Chance is real but not a deterent for me to play this game. The top players just tend to manage it better when it bite you in the butt!

I know… the money Italy is making is just crazy… Honestly, I felt like giving you the game right in the beginning, when I failed to sink the Mediterranean Battleship, but I thought it might be premature and thought that with some luck I might be able to gain ground in other theaters of war. That has however not materialized.

@max334 A couple of things. I see you edited in factory that you didn’t purchase. You also made edits to units that don’t add up for the US. Its kind of taboo to change purchases after you have rolled combat dice without any sort of notification beforehand. I’m kind of an edit stickler so with this being a playoff game I would request you edit the US back to the original purchases you made with them. You also had a mech in Korea that you didn’t purchase. Feel free to place the inf and 2 art you did buy there but remember to remove them from Western US.
As for the UK transport in sz 112 since it is starting in a hostile sz it has to either fight or move out on the combat phase. If you move out and pick up the 2 inf they must fight in an amphibious assault since they were loaded during the combat phase. (per the rules). Otherwise they have sit empty somewhere else.

I was trying to honor your second request of picking up the pace of the game. Its kind of disingenuous of you to make a stink over this given your previous requests and it troubles me a good deal. I know you are not a big fan of editing after the fact and hence your first request to take your time in order to limit mistakes resulting in edits. It’s obvious that I needed to buy a factory, but to my dismay it wasn’t on the purchase list. So I made the necessary addition and subtractions from the purchase list before the next power (China) started their turn. I apologize about the UK trn and will make necessary and mutually satisfactory adjustments to conform to the rules.
Now…do you want to proceed or get an independent judgment.

I fully expected you to buy a factory but you didn’t (through no fault of mine) And then edited it in and changed a bunch of other purchases after you rolled dice and saw the outcomes of battles, all without notifying me first. That is what is most upsetting and disingenuous! Now if we went to an independant ruling I gurantee my request would be upheld. But I think we can work it out ourselves. I propose this: to allow the factory build but no other purchase changes. Stay with your original purchase of 2 Art, 1 carrier, 1 dd, 1 fig, 1 inf, 1 sub, 1 tac, 2 trn. And then decide what 12 ipc’s to lose to make up for the factory purchase. You may re-deploy your units as needed. And I am changing my no scramble to a scramble in light of the factory being built.

Fixing things at the expense of your opponent!!! That’s just crazy talk. And acting like I changed my purchase based on rolls is ridiculous. Maybe I should have notifies you, if that is your preference, but why slow the game down when your stated desire is for the exact opposite. As I had told you before, this game is nearly yours and to insinuate that I’m now playing dishonestly is below the belt.
As far as your scramble decision either is fine. Not like you didnt see the factory when you first made the decision. But these are the kind of petty things that take the fun out of playing and I wished you wouldnt engage in. Pls check your reply and maybe we can finish this game as gentlemen.
@max334 First off it is dishonest (not that it was intentioanl) to make purchase changes after your turn and not notify your opponent. Its not a preference its the right thing to do. The game has specfic phases of a turn that allow you to do certain things in that phase only. Triple A is the exception and allows things to be edited. This would never fly in a face to face game. I am well within my right to disallow the purchase change per the rules of the game and the league rules. But I am making concessions to allow for fair game play. And FYI I made the scramble decision based upon the fact that the factory would not be there. I changed my mind after I decided to allow the factory build. Do you accepty my proposal so we can move on or do we need a ruling?

Dishonest behavior needs intention or else its just untrue or a mistake. You have two options: Play on as is with a change in the UK trn and a sincere apology from you or we get an unbiased ruling. The second will however result in you being placed on the list.
And you are right, in a face to face game, petty stuff like that would not fly.
