Sorry for butting in but I have a question. Since you have to assign the attackers hits before you see your defensive rolls. How can you choose to lose the BB knowing he still has subs left to attack if you haven’t rolled yet and he hasn’t assigned hits?
@majikforce I would ALWAYS choose to keep a fighter over a bb in this case if there’s ANY possibility of a sub surviving. So I don’t have to know beforehand. It’s a no-brainer for me.
@majikforce also, in a situation like this, the right thing to do is ask your opponent. No assumption should be made here.

Agreed. It’s the tough part of not playing face to face. One more question and then I’ll butt back out since you are losing the BB shouldn’t your opponent be allowed to change his loss from 1 sub and 1 fighter to both subs and get a fighter roll? Just wondering what the protocol should be. Again I’m with you about asking first. Sometimes its worth the wait to not assume.
@majikforce no because I got a total of 3 hits, 2 of which came from my air. So those couldn’t be assigned to a sub, as I don’t have any dd. So his first round casualty choices are correct.
