I play an Ad-Hoc version of the game using a global map (Deaths Head Map in the “Variants” thread) and rules version I compiled under “Minor Axis and Allies Powers” in the “House Rules” thread. This version incorporates Minor Axis and Allied power into gameply and pulls rules ideas from many other areas of this site. Dog Fighting was one of those rules that appeared in AAHE….just wanted to make sure I’m interpreting this rule properly…

Maybe we’re illiterate. Maybe we’re dumb. But we’re having a hard time with this right now and it’s annoying.
Just playing the original board game here and we don’t really get aircraft attacking. So, here are some random questions and clarifications for y’all.
1. Can infantry and tanks attack airplanes at all?
2. Can airplanes attack other airplanes?
3. Can airplanes defend a ground attack?From what we can tell, it just seems kind of overpowered so we’re not sure if we’ve got this right. Sorry for this completely noobish question, but we’re trying to teach it to ourselves here ^^;;
