    Tuff on the rolls and US rolled max on Berlin.

    Yes, intercept. I knew Ger would be target since that’s where I build. But U.S. CV based escorts could only reach W. Ger, not Ger. So I gambled on where to put Ger ftrs.

    I learned from Japan against Moscow and U.S. against Germany, that if the bombing raid has at least a couple of fighter escorts, the raid won’t be stopped by interceptors; as the ftrs will take the few hits (if any) from the short air battle, and the bombers will proceed on to the target. AA fire won’t stop a big raid.

    Very true. I do like getting the Japanese and sometimes the Italian bomber involved in bombing Moscow.
