Request for Article: Starting an A&A group and organizing tournaments

I keep see messages on Facebook (but here too) from folks in various parts of the country looking for Axis & Allies groups and tournaments. Since all of you organize meetup groups and/or tournaments, I thought it would be awesome if you all could co-write an article on how this.

For the article, I would just need you to answer1-2 questions:

How did you start your A&A group or tournament(s)?

What tips do you have for starting an A&A group or tournament in your area?

I only called out 6 people but if I missed somebody, I apologize and all are welcome to contribute to this. If it gets “too long,” I’ll have a part 1 and part 2.
