It was about GeneralDiscussions/Politics actually.
I did not want to hurt your feelings, just separate different topics from each other. Simply the moderator’s job. :wink:
Ya. I get it
Is there a way to go to the last page when you open a new thread? SMF allowed that because you could always open the last page. Or is the only option to show newest posts first?
@simon33 Yup … look in the tool bar and click this …
@simon33
Yeah I was looking for thhat too. What I do right now is:
On the top, you see a little field, in this case it shows “40 out of 41”. You can click on the double arrows pointing down

In the old forum, I mainly used the button, where the forum would show me all the threads I replied in, that have a new post - this way I could very easily grab all the games where it’s currently my turn. I have not discovered that yet.
There is a better way but it probably isn’t set for all of your old posts (unless you reply I think).
Click “Unread”
Then select “Watched Topics”:
If there are old topics you want to “Watch” just be sure to click the button at the bottom or top to watch it:
@djensen Or just reply to all topics you want to watch. They are marked as watched automatically
One thing I’m finding a bit prickly here is that ordering posts in a forum by newest to oldest refers to the OP, not the newest post in the thread. This is not so useful IMO.
@simon33 I’m not sure what you’re seeing but I’m seeing the correct beahvior. It’s sorted by more recent post/activity in the thread:
It’s sorted by replies while the original posts are all over the place.
Perhaps I just got confused there with the lack of showing when the last post was. Your right, it seems to work when I look at it in detail.
@simon33 Pinned posts are not obvious enough. @Gargantua mentioned this too.
