@chrisbump86 I forgive you; though, I am alright (not upset). I also ask that you forgive me, since I was unaware that I had caused such a negative emotional reaction from you, due to my intimate conversations with you (how one would speak to someone they know well, as I seem to do with anyone I feel comfortable speaking with). Though, I do not feel the same way, that is, I am not for going “our separate ways.” That sounds like we are enemies; when I feel the opposite is true. I believed to have found “what [I] was looking for in a game and or gaming companions.” Nonetheless, if this was the excuse you had been looking for the entire time, then it would make sense. I do not, can not, or should not force anyone to do anything against their will. I simply ask you to reconsider this hasty/rash/harsh decision and actually give the gaming relationship a chance. Get to know me, before you judge me based upon what you read. My character is not summed up it those few messages. I assure you. I pose no real threat… other than, perhaps a formidable gaming opponent, or at least I try to be one. :)

Hello All,
New to the site but my buddies and I have been playing A&A for years between just us (about 5 guys). Looking for some new players in the Chicago area. We try and meet up once a week and play and have a few beers and burgers or what not and take turns hosting. Real chill group of guys but we’d love some new people to play. We’re all out in the western suburbs of Chicago so if you want to join and play a game let me know! We currently switch between Anniversary edition and global depending on how much time we have but we’re open to others.

Maybe if we did it on a Saturday (schedules permitting for everyone) then ya I’d say we’d be up for that! There are three of us that play consistently but how big is your group?

I have up to 12 guys. Usually get 5-7 a game on Saturdays most times.
We sometimes play twice a month. Mostly once a month.

Are you still interested in finding new Chicago players? We have a group that play the AA50-41 game, our own house rules, called “The Chicago Rules”. We’ve been developing these for several years. I can shoot you the documents if you are interested. Then you can take a look at them, and then let me know if you might be interested in trying them out either on your own or in a game with my playing group.

@SS-GEN Thanks for your reply and the invite. Our gaming group already has a game planned for the 23rd, so we’ll have to choose another future date. Wanted to get a copy of our house rules out to other players so they can read them and come up with any questions they may have. I didn’t want to send unexpected documents to someone as they would probably think it might be spam or worse!

I’m very new to Axis and Allies but I’d be interested in playing. I live in cedarburg wi (north of Milwaukee) and would be willing to come to Kenosha for a game some day. I’ve only played 1 game of 1941 at GenCon last year, and 1 game of 1942 that I just got for Christmas. I’m working on learning all the rules, but grasp the basics. -
