    I used plenty of planes in Ukr and W. Ukr, because I needed blockers to survive.  But, since I had a bomber that couldn’t reach in the south, I gambled in Smol:  Bat Calc said I had good chance, but 4 vs 4 seemed like a gamble to me.  All mine missed and Rus rolled 3 of 4.  That hurt.  I should have used more troops and retreated after one round of dice.  Or just not attacked there.

    The Japanese took India and destroyed the Chi/Rus advance.  No bad dice for me this turn.  Had to maintain a solid homeland defense against a growing U.S. CV presence in Hawaii and W. Coast.  Japan has 81 PU, of which 5 came from India treasury.  Just wish there was a way to get planes to the Ger front.

    Yes, the Jpn blockers rolled well.  And convoy dice were good to me, with Italy less damage last round and Brit max damage in UK.  But the Novg AA missed for the 5th time.

    I knew it.  My Italian bomber was shot down on its maiden bombing run.  It inflicted no damage and never will.  Meanwhile, the Brit bomber caused twice its value in damage and have never been hit in 5 bombing runs.  I didn’t want to risk the Italian bomber because I can’t afford to replace it, and the U.S. can afford to repair.  But the bomber wasn’t doing anything and it was only 1/6 chance of a hit. 
    I didn’t ask you for an intercept because you only had 1 ftr and I escorted with a ftr.
