I don’t even know how that’s possible :-o
Easy, I ride a fine line being just offensive enough to keep the powers that be from making me a moderator and just inoffensive enough not to be perma-banned.
If you want lessons, I can sell you some. =)

Because I leave the keyboard but stay in the site. It takes the site a while to figure out I’ve left and stop counting time as active.
-
It takes about 15 minutes for the site to mark you as inactive. When it does so, it deletes the inactive 15 minutes.
The reason my time is so high is that I will log in, and every few minutes wander buy the PC and click “Show new posts” so my time stays active.
I have NOT sat here for 1/3 of a year… Maybe 3 or 4 weeks, but not 3 or 4 MONTHS :-P
-
You sure it deletes the 15 minutes?
Wouldn’t think anyone would bother to code that in. :P
-
It simply logs the time from the last post. If more than 15 minutes passes, you fall off the “logged on” listing and it count the time starting from the next post. And your time is counted to the “last post made”.
Basically, as long as you post every 15 minutes, your time is continuous.
