The first round is so heavily susceptible to dice swings, it’s not even funny. And the repercussions are so huge.
-44 instead of +25 on average. Your scramble decision is statistically a bad decision, resulting in a bigger TUV loss. You basically could have conceded right then and there, if my attack would have gone well. But you took the risk and the gamble paid off.
This one single battle makes such a huge difference in the game right now =(

Sorry for whining, it just hits me right at the wrong time. The last couple of days, I received heavy dice losses. I do realize that I had great dice too at other times.
And I also realize that those heavy dice swings can happen fast when there are only so few dice involved, that’s why the first round is so crucial. It can be devastating for both sides very, very easily.

Regarding the statistics, it’s +32 for the Brits without the scramble and +23 with it according to my calculator. What’s your calculator say?
I did question whether it was worth losing Luftwaffe to kill some RAF but I took the gamble anyway.
