Only 5 hits on 1st round of attack; well that is below average - 7-8 hits would have been okay - I had no chance at all after a bad round like this :-P

Some rough dice for you. On the flip side, I actually didn’t think you were going to do that attack as I missed a US plane in my battle calc. Germany did have almost as many planes as the US to begin with some cannon fodder. That first roll was a devastating loss for you. Germany is having some problems for sure right now. But it might not fall apart as fast now.
I’m very lucky as those US bombers were pretty threatening everywhere. Just the presence of them made me calc many potential attack spots.

I ran the battle in sz 113 about 10 times and 8 out of 10 I got favourable outcome on the battle… but on the actual battle I got crushed :-P

I think it was going to 2 turns from now to have a real chance for Hawaii, but still not a foregone conclusion because of the US landing more builds.
